Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc with Android 2.3 announced at CES

Previously known as Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 (also known Sony Ericsson Anzu) has been officially launched in CES as Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.

Measuring 8.7 mm thick with a concave back, Xperia Arc runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and comes with a 4.2 inch Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 1GHz Qualcomm Processor, 8.1 megapixel camera with LED Flash, Sony Exmor R camera sensor, mini-HDMI port, 720p HD Video Recording, A-GPS and the connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, 3.5 mm audio jack, UMTS/HSPA 800, 850, 1900, 2100 MHz and DLNA.

Xperia Arc also comes with Exclusive Sony Ericsson apps such as Timescape, PlayNow, TrackID music recognition and has an internal memory of 32GB with support for microSD cards. The phone comes bundled with an 8GB memory card and an 1500mAH battery.

The phone is expected to be available in selected markets in Q1 2011 and will come in 2 different colors namely Midnight Blue and Misty Silver
