No Android updates for Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 beyond 2.1,, Xperia Arc will get Gingerbread update

Sony Ericsson has just confirmed that there will be no further updates to X10, X10 mini or X10 mini pro devices beyond Android 2.1. However, Sony Ericsson insists that there will be future enhancements to the X10, X10 mini and X10 mini pro, for instance a multitouch update for the X10 in Q1 2011,

Also Sony Ericsson has confirmed that Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Android smartphone will get Honeycomb update within a month and half of the official Honeycomb launch. Company said that the update will be hell lot of quicker this year.
